As of today, I installed a new WordPress Theme, Sydney Pro 2, since my old one was no longer compatible with the latest WordPress version 6.2.
The previous theme, my first one, was actually not officially supported, which I learned much later. It was a proof of concept by a young programmer. I liked the old one when I installed it in 2012, as it had the Facebook Timeline look and feel to it which was used by Facebook at that time. For those who remember Facebook from 12 years ago, it had a two column layout, and since I wanted to use my blog more than Facebook, it was logical to me at the time to use a similar layout. But, the Facebook Timeline layout has long vanished, and so it was about time to replace the Theme on my private blog with a more modern, and fully supported, professional Theme.
I’m still working on adapting my old posts and so on to the new layout, so please bear with me as I try to fix all the kinks and errors that may come up.
In the meantime, enjoy the new layout. Let me know if there are things that don’t work, or if you have a suggestion for new features or feature changes.
